First Annual Glory-Thon
Raises $21,005.000 During 12-Hour Broadcast!

Thanks to the staff, residents, Board Members and many community volunteers who helped make the first annual Glory-Thon a huge success. There truly is Glory in giving! During the broadcast, the Glory House raised a total of $21,005.00¾and that's not counting the donations dropped off at the local branches of RBC Centura Bank or the residual donations that have continued to come during the days following our live broadcast. The final donation amount should be ready to report by late March 2003.

The Glory-Thon was a great kick-start to our efforts to raise $130,000 for our relocation to and renovation of our new location on Carson Street in Raleigh, NC. With the continued interest and support from our community, the Glory House will soon realize our goal of expanding our program to help a greater number of women in need in our community.
